So, try taking some great quality olive oil, some lemon juice, and a little balsamic vinegar for a great home-made salad dressing. It tastes delicious and is a much healthier option that what you’ll likely find at a grocery store.

Cooking with lemon juice

When you start cooking slow carb meals, you quickly want to make things taste interesting, and keep things different.

Lemon juice is an excellent option to do just this, for fish or chicken. Pair lemon juice with pepper, and you’ve got the start of something that tastes incredible. Try baking salmon with lemon juice and pepper, or frying up some diced chicken with natural butter (or ghee, macadamia oil, coconut oil) with the same mix.
