I'm coming into week 4 of slow carb eating, and I have to admit the cheat-day lead-up each week is quite an exciting time for me. Not only for the food, but also because it means the weekend is near, and all those great weekend activities are on their way again, with the welcome rest break from the working week. Well, that magical day rolled around on the calendar, and I have to admit was pretty excited for it. Though I enjoy the meals during the week, there’s nothing like switching up what you’re eating, where it’s coming from (and who’s cooking it) to make it feel like a great relaxing weekend day. I’ve been gluten free for over 5 years now, so my cheat day may look a little different to the hamburgers and mac and cheese days, so I thought I’d share.
