Why the food pyramid makes me angry
If you read this site often, you'll know I don't like to speak badly of something, or anyone, for that matter, and like to focus on 'how to' and not 'why you can't' types of ideas. Today, however, I've reached the end of my rope with one very common sight around the world - the food pyramid. It takes a lot for me to get worked up about something, but I have been astonished too many times now - at people's beliefs, attitudes and the government's inaction of changing their recommendations so that people can be healthier in their dietary habits. So, it's time to explain why the food pyramid makes me furious, and why I wish I could turn back time and delete it entirely. Continue reading
Why we get fat – finally understanding the process

Best Foods for Cheat Day
There's been a few questions that have come up about what people eat on cheat days. Though most people go wild, and clear out their closest fast food chains, other people hit some unusual stuff, like delicacies from overseas, or handmade truffle chocolates.
